TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A 20% Service Charge (gratuity) will be added to all hourly charters.

A 6-8% Temporary Fuel Surcharge will be added to all hourly charters. (6% for Sedans and Chrysler 300s, 8% for SUV and SUV limos)

3 hour minimum on all Friday and Saturday day (5am to 6pm time range)hourly rentals

4 hour minimum on Friday evening (6pm to 5am range) hourly rentals (except Wedding Packages)

5 hour minimum on Saturday evening (6pm to 5am range) hourly rentals(except Wedding Packages)

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO RESERVE A VEHICLE: 25% of the total balance

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal checks (14 days in advance of pickup), or money orders.

THE BALANCE WILL BE DUE 10 DAYS PRIOR TO PICKUP IF YOU ARE CHARGING IT TO A MAJOR CREDIT CARD.

WE ACCEPT CASH AT PICKUP WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD ON FILE.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD, WE WILL ACCEPT CASH OR PERSONAL CHECK. YOU MUST PAY THE BALANCE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DATE USING MONEY ORDER OR CASH.

You must be 18 years of age to reserve a vehicle or your parents/guardian will have to place the reservation for you.

Restrictions Apply. Travel and toll charges may apply for non-local pickups.

Out of State travel may require additional toll and travel time charges.

ANY CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 45 DAYS OF THE LIMOUSINE RESERVATION WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL BALANCE TO THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE.

NO SMOKING or use of illegal drugs is allowed in our vehicle(s) and is cause for termination without refund for the scheduled request. 

NO CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC beverages is permitted in the vehicle if anyone under 21 years of age is transported without a parent or legal guardian present.  

Any damage to our vehicle, either willfully or accidentally will be charged to any credit card provided by customer.($250 for vomiting in the vehicle interior, $50 for excessive spills, $5 for broken glasses, $100 for vomiting in the ice bucket, etc.)

How to Determine if a Maryland Limousine Company is Operating Legally
A Platinum Plus Limousines Inc. is a Maryland Licensed Intrastate (within the State) Carrier (PSC#3077). We are also a USDOT licensed Interstate (outside of the State) Carrier. Our United States Department Of Transportation (USDOT) number is 1454353. Our Motor Carrier # is 644924

Unfortunately due to rapidly increasing business costs in the State of Maryland, there are many  limousine companies who have chosen to operate illegally. They advertise vehicles they do not own on company web sites, Limos.com, LimoPros.com, the Verizon Yellow Pages, the Yellow Book, and many local Community Phone Books.  They also misrepresent the age of their vehicles as well as the ownership status (ie. They don't own them but they subcontract their work to other companies without your knowledge) when you call to receive a verbal quote. 

If the quote sounds too good to be true, here are some things you can do to verify the validity of the company with whom you choose to do business.  Ask them for all of the charges in a written quote by email or fax.  You should specifically ask them for fuel surcharges due to many companies not including fuel charges and gratuities in their verbal quotes by phone.  That could result in the cost being 20% to 30% higher than what you expect to pay when the vehicle arrives.  We include our service and fuel charges in all verbal quotes, so you know the TOTAL PRICE for your event.  There is no bait and switch here.

Also ask to see the vehicles at their facilities.  If they can't or won't physically show you the vehicle or a provide copy of the registration with their company name and the VIN number, more than likely they don't own the vehicle or don't have the proper licensing.

You can verify the ownership of the vehicle and the status of the Limousine Company at the Maryland Public Service Commission web site link provided below.

Ask the company for their PSC #, and the VIN number or License Plate Number (Tag Number) of the vehicles they are advertising.  If the vehicle is not listed on this web site, it is not licensed by the State of Maryland as a FOR HIRE Vehicle.  You can search for the vehicles by the carrier name (Limousine Company Name), VIN number, or Tag Number of the vehicle on the web link indicated above.

If you receive a quote from a company without both a USDOT# and MC# for interstate transportation outside of the State of Maryland, they are operating illegally. And that includes Washington DC.

Ask the company for their USDOT# and MC#.

Go to this US Department of Transportation link to verify the company's USDOT interstate operating authority (Motor Carrier) status.

Once you confirm they have a USDOT and MC#, check their out of service status.  If it says yes, they are not allowed to go out of state. And it will give you an out of service date when they lost their operating authority.
